Consumers United Association Seeks Nominations for
First Annual CUA "Advo" Award and Right on the Money Award

Denver, CO - To recognize the effective and impressive consumer advocacy and financial education efforts of Colorado individuals, businesses, legislators and educators, Consumer United Association announces its first annual CUA Advocacy ("Advo") and Right on the Money Awards. The awards will be presented at this year's Consumer Expo to be held October 2, 2004.

"Consumers United Association established the CUA Advo Award and Right on the Money Award because we want to acknowledge and support leaders, organizations and schools that are having an impact on the financial lives of consumers," said Renee Beauregard, executive director, CUA. "CUA believes the awards will help raise the awareness of consumer advocacy relative to financial issues and to encourage more financial education for children and youth."

§ The CUA Advo Award will distinguish an individual, legislator, organization or company that has positively impacted the financial lives of consumers through advocacy or protection, programming or legislative efforts. Examples include exceptional dedication and skill in positively impacting the financial lives of Colorado consumers and inspirational leadership in the community.

§ The Right on the Money Award will honor a school or other organization that provides vital financial education to children and young adults. Nominees will include those that provide inspiration and encouragement to students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn financial skills and innovation in teaching methods with measurable results.

CUA is seeking nominations for both the CUA Advo and Right on the Money Awards.
